Join the Kentucky Nurses Association and Actors Theater of Louisville for "The Clinic," a virtual sharing of Collective Care: Finding Freedom and Joy Through Movement and the Arts. This presentation will be curated from a workshop led by nurse, dancer, and creative caregiver Tara Rynders, MFA, BSN, BA, RN-BC, with participants from KNA. Please join us at 7 p.m. EDT on Thursday, November 4 to learn more about Tara's work, view a video culminating from the workshop, and participate in a Q&A.
Tara Rynders is an artistic director and founder of “The Clinic.” She believes that her work as a nurse and performer are symbiotically intertwined and are not as different as one would think. Her current and future research includes how the arts decrease burnout and secondary stress, increase empathy, and advance the correlation between burnout, health disparities and the role nurses play in racism at the bedside.
This performance of “The Clinic” is funded, in part, by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and Actors Theatre of Louisville.
