This is the second of a quarterly series for nursing students designed to guide you in your journey to professional excellence and leadership. Each session will focus on a topic related to soft skills with the presentation lasting approximately 20 min. While hard skills are well learned in the clinical setting, soft skills can be cultivated by conscious efford and are crucial for survivan and becoming a leader in your profession. This session will focus on stress management and will be followed by KNA news and updates.

Lee Anne Walmsley PhD, MSN, RN Lee Anne Walmsley is an assistant professor, director of work-life and student wellness and military & veteran student liaison at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. She has more than 40 years of clinical and academic experience. Lee Anne has a doctorate in nursing, a Doctor of Education, a Master of Science, and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the UK.
