Additional Information
PATH is a non-profit dedicated to educating the public and bringing awareness to the topic of human trafficking. PATH has found that those who provide service to underserved or marginalized populations often don’t truly understand what trafficking is and therefore don’t identify that their clients may be victims. This course will be an introductory overview of trafficking in all its forms.
At the conclusion of this program, the participants will be able to:
- Identify the signs of human trafficking
- Develop Strategies for response when human trafficking has been identified/suspected
- Develop education components to share with colleagues and communities to build awareness
- Identify agency strengths and best practices when working with victims and survivors of human trafficking
- Develop an understanding of trauma informed responses and best practices when working with clients who have experienced human trafficking
