Additional Information
PATH is a non-profit dedicated to educating the public and bringing awareness to the topic of human trafficking. PATH has found that those who provide service to underserved or marginalized populations often don’t truly understand what trafficking is and therefore don’t identify that their clients may be victims. This course will be an introductory overview of recognizing grooming which often is the first step to victims being trafficked.
At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:
- Define the grooming dynamic
- Identify the steps of the grooming process
- Develop an understanding of the signs and characteristics of victims
