Additional Information

This course will help learners understand how to adapt how we interact when the other person's brain is changing. The course will include explanations of how the brain is changing when someone is living with dementia and what care partners can do to be supportive. Learners will practice the use of positive physical approach (PPA) and hand under hand developed by Teepa Snow. Both techniques are based in building relationships of doing with people instead of to people.

There will be a video link sent out three days prior to the CE event.  The CE panel discussion will begin on March 13 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm ET.

*In order to receive your CE certificate, you must watch the video, attend the panel discussion and complete the survey that is sent out the next business day*
