On Monday, the Committee Substitute to House Bill 354 unanimously passed out of the full Senate!  We and Kentucky Nonprofit Network thank you for using your voice to protect our sector. We have two wins:

1. Full exemption from sales tax on admissions 
2. Full exemption from sales tax on fundraising event sales 
 

However, because of the differences in the House and Senate versions of the bill, a bipartisan free conference committee of House and Senate members was appointed yesterday to hammer out an agreement - ideally before the veto period begins on March 15th.

Please call 1-800-372-7181 and tell the operator you’d like to leave a message for members of the House Bill 354 Conference Committee:

”Please support the nonprofit sales tax solutions included in the SENATE SUBSTITUTE to HB 354.”

By Email:
”I am a constituent and nonprofit leader (volunteer, board member, donor, etc.) with XYZ organization asking Senator X/Representative Y to please support the nonprofit sales tax solutions included in the SENATE SUBSTITUTE to House Bill 354.”
