Contact the legislature to get funding for school nurses

We are asking for your help to provide funding for school nurses. Please call the senators and representatives on their respective appropriations and revenue committees (listed below) and ask them to provide $8.8 million dollars (non-recurring) for a school nurse in every school every day. Call 1-800-372-7181 and use this message or one of your own: “For the health and safety of KY children, support the one time, 2-year funding in the budget to ensure a full-time nurse in every KY public school. KY school children are depending on you.”
