Are you interested in advocacy, leadership, and shaping the future of nursing? Serving on the KNA Governmental Affairs Cabinet (GAC) is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in health policy and professional leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Attend Zoom meetings and weekly cabinet discussions
- Read, research, and discuss legislative bills affecting nursing and healthcare
- Receive and review weekly reports from the KNA lobbyist
- Attend Nurses Day at the Capitol (NDAC)

- Candidates are selected by the Governmental Affairs Committee (GAC)
- Final appointment made by the KNA Board of Directors
